SEEK & FIND
Before something becomes marketable that something starts with raw materials and then it is shaped into something useful. One designs the look, another designs usefulness, another practicality and yet another profitability. Out of the raw material emerges something we can actually use and that something can actually benefit and even improve our lives. Like a cell phone we like to communicate and play with, but that eventually comes to an end and we want something new.
What does never come to an end is the seeking of our Creator, our Father and the way He made us.
What does never come to an end is the seeking of our Creator, our Father and the way He made us.
[Proverbs 8:17] I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.
Do you love your Creator?
[Matthew 6:31-33] Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Can a Gentile outgrow his or her gentile-ism?
[Matthew 7:7-8] Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
The seeking is not physical. The knocking is not on the physical door.
[Luke 12:29-31] And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
There must be some energy output, some dedication and determination to find, but what do you find? You will find first knowledge, not man's doctrine or tenets of some denomination, but the heavenly knowledge that leads to life.
[Proverbs 15:14] The mind of the intelligent seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly.
What distinguishes us from fools? - Now you know.
[Proverbs 18:15] The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
You already know biology, chemistry, mathematics or geography, but do you know your Creator?
Jesus said this:
[Matthew 7:13-14] Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
It's a choice. One does not go for the splashy, big and impressive wanting a better performance because the big chip on my shoulder demands it. Pride of life brings death. Period.
Narrow and small gate leads to life. Jesus did not say to life eternal, mind you, but to life. Not after you die then hocus-pocus abracadabra and you walk on streets of gold, live in a palace, sit on the throne wearing a golden crown with sword in hand rule over the nations. Those who come out from tribulation and oppression came out from under thrones and swords; would they then do the same to others then? Earthly attachments would want you to imagine it, but it is still flesh.
[John 8:51] Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death.
Oh Jesus you are too much…
Do I believe it? And if so then what do I do about it? Is it your faith that needs propping up or is it His divine gift given to a childlike person who humbled the pride of life and enters through the small narrow gate into life.
